Summer learning journey-week 1-Day 3-it's All in the family-activity 1-the more,the merrier.

If I were in a big family with nine siblings I would probably feel compelled if I were one of the oldest or the youngest because the oldest wouldn't have any hand me downs from any older siblings,and for the youngest the hand me downs probably wouldn't be in it's original best quality.I would enjoy being in a big family because no matter what they always got your back,and are always there when you need a helping hand.It also would be fun when you go on all the family trips and making new memories with the people you love!

Summer learning journey-week 1-day 2-it's all in a day's work-special meals-bonus activity.

       My favourite meals is bacon and egg               pie,bacon and egg pie is full of layers of     Pastry,bacon,eggs,cheese and mixed vegetables.I   like this meal because it's yum,very nice and   easy to make at home.Also because when you   cut it open you can see the layers of bacon,eggs   and vegetables.I highly recommend making this   bacon and egg pie at home!.

My dream job is to be an artist because i've always loved to draw because it's like a way that I can connect with one of my true passions and something that i've dreamt to do in the future .Art is also makes me happy and I really enjoy drawing and painting at school and at home.

Summer learning journey week one activity 1-A house or a home-it's all in a days work-Day 2.

Differences:

• The wharepuni has only 1 big room.
• The wharepuni has lots of carvings on the walls.

Similarities:

• Both have a door.
• They both have a window.

Summer learning journey week one bonus activity-waka ama-Day one.

I would probably not want to be in a waka ama race because it is very hard and takes a lot of strength,energy and skill.It also isn't really kind of what I would want to do. Waka ama and physical challenges aren't really one of my strengths either.

Dear friend.

I'm on a voyage to New Zealand,I really nervous about meeting new people a d making new friends and the whole moving countries thing. We've seen beautiful views and scenic views. I'm making goals to discover new things and starting to make changes to my new life.

Summer learning journey week one-in the beginning (1800-1870)-Day 1.

Three facts I have learnt about maui:

• Maui always dreamt of fishing with his elder brothers.

• He recited an old karakia to himself and his brothers catch fish for them.

• Since that day Maui's people believed that Maui was the best fisherman ever.

Stories that I have heard about Maui:

• How he slowed the sun.

• How he pulled up islands.

• How he stole fire from Mahuika the goddess of fire.
