Summer learning journey week one-in the beginning (1800-1870)-Day 1.

Three facts I have learnt about maui:

• Maui always dreamt of fishing with his elder brothers.

• He recited an old karakia to himself and his brothers catch fish for them.

• Since that day Maui's people believed that Maui was the best fisherman ever.

Stories that I have heard about Maui:

• How he slowed the sun.

• How he pulled up islands.

• How he stole fire from Mahuika the goddess of fire.

Here in term 1 I did a Adolf Hitler presentation for our "Be the change you want to see in the world" project that was once said by Mahatma Gandhi who tried to restore peace in the world.This project was our main focus for our inquiry project for the first 2 terms.

Cyber-smart the game.

Today we had cyber-smart and we did the cyber-smart game.The way you play the game is you roll the virtual dice and whatever number it lands on you click on that and it automatically goes to a cyber-smart activity that you have to complete.The aim was to complete 5 tasks and blog about it.This game was really fun and helpful for tips on cyber-smart.I finished my 5 that I did.tasks are shown down below.
